Our Story
Connor and I met in the summer of 2021 at The Depot in Ruston, Louisiana where he was a barista and I was studying for the Dental Admissions Test. We clicked instantly and built a great friendship over the next year while we both served in the First Baptist Ruston college ministry. We went on our first date in January of 2022 and dated for all of ~two weeks~ that Spring. It was great, and I knew he was the one, but I was going to dental school in New Orleans and he was staying to get his masters degree in Ruston.
Two years later, I reached out and asked if I could get a do-over. We gave long distance a shot, and had so much fun sharing our lives in Nashville and New Orleans.
Connor proposed on April 19th, 2025 on a trail in Ruston that is so special to both of us. We have spent many hours on that trail talking about God's goodness, wins, losses, growth and so much more. It's so sweet to walk that trail now and see all that God has done from 2021 to now, and how he gives grace in abundance.
We are so thankful for all of the support from our family and friends and we cannot wait to celebrate with y'all on April 18th, 2026!

Getting There
TRANSPORTATION
There will be shuttles running from First Baptist Ruston to The Ida Grey following the end of the ceremony and throughout the reception. We ask that if you can, please leave your car at First Baptist and use the shuttles since parking is extremely limited near the Ida Grey. If you need to use your car, please utilize the First Horizon Bank or Origin Bank parking lots! It is a short 4-6 minute walk from those parking lots to the venue, but there are not sidewalks available.
